My name is Gabi, the founder and creator behind the Chocolate Cosmo!

I have been surrounded by bakers my whole life. From my earliest memories helping my mum with the Christmas baking to helping my auntie in her bakery on school vacations, I’ve always loved being in the kitchen, creating delicious treats.

After finishing school, I chose to pursue my passion by enrolling in the Baking & Pastry Arts Management program at Humber Polytechnic Institute. During my time there I gained so many valuable skills and was even lucky to study abroad in Florence, Italy.

After graduation, I found myself searching for new adventures and landed in Revelstoke, BC, where I have been for the last 7 years. During this time I have worked in bakeries and created numerous wedding cakes. Through this, I have discovered how much I love bringing custom designs to life, especially for significant events, like weddings. This led to the creation of The Chocolate Cosmo in 2023; my opportunity to continue the work I love.

I believe desserts should not only taste incredible but also feel personal—like a little piece of art made just for you. Whether it's a towering floral wedding cake or a box of whimsical cupcakes, I approach every order with the same intention: to create something memorable, meaningful, and delicious.

The Chocolate Cosmo is rooted in a love of craft, care, and celebration. Inspired by nature, vintage charm, and a little bit of whimsy, my designs blend elegance with playfulness. I’m especially drawn to romantic florals, bold textures, and details that make a cake feel truly one-of-a-kind.
